What comes first the art or the words?
Some days I draw and it inspires a poem and other days I write and it inspires the art.
Not everything I draw or paint has accompanying poetry.
It is all about expression.
Every scratch of ink or swipe of paint not only grounds me personally,
but also feels like an act empowered resistance.
